Culturally Grounded Pathways from Research to Market

Indigenous Entrepreneurship Hubs support First Nations, Métis and Inuit researcher-entrepreneurs through culturally grounded hands-on training, mentorship, and community-driven supports tailored to the needs and priorities of Indigenous entrepreneurs at different stages of their journey.

Programs vary by location, but all are rooted in Indigenous knowledge, relationships, and values.

Councils & Cultural Guidance

Our work is guided by Indigenous leadership at every level. The following councils help ensure that programming is community-led and culturally grounded:

Indigenous Advisory Council

  • Shannon Pestun (Alberta)
  • Misty Ireland (Northwest Territories)
  • Diane Roussin (Manitoba)

Knowledge Keepers Council

  • Helen Settee (Manitoba)
  • Wendy Phillips (Ontario)
  • Kathy Wapepah-Eashappie (Saskatchewan)
